SHERRIE NORRIS — Marketing Specialist
With over 20 years in sales and marketing for national publications, digital media, and account management, Sherrie Norris excels at helping small businesses reach their goals. Over the years, she has built deep experience in marketing and advertising strategies, with core specialties in branding and content marketing. Her career has taken her from traditional marketing to the ever-changing landscape of digital marketing.
Prior to joining Safe Money Broadcasting, Sherrie held critical sales and business development roles, where she consistently exceeded account goals and built strong customer relationships. Over the years, she has worked for growing national publications covering lifestyle, personal wellness, and other areas of broad readership. She has been a consistent driver of new business and partner to numerous organizations, helping them put together as well as execute on strategic marketing packages to grow customer awareness, expand their market reach, and increase revenues.
Sherrie holds a degree in Marketing & Advertising and has attained an Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) certification from the International Accreditation Board. Her marketing knowledge spans many areas, including traditional media, direct mail, programmatic advertising, experiential marketing, content marketing, email marketing, and digital marketing & media.
Sherrie believes in the importance of aligning your brand with trusted, known, and respected companies, which is why she is passionate about helping advisors achieve these objectives. IAN MYERS — Communications Manager
Ian serves as Communications Manager. He is a resident plate-spinner, working with strategic teams at Safe Money for firm communications, digital marketing, and content marketing for SMB’s valued SafeMoney.com advisor community.
Ian draws upon 10+ years of experience in public affairs, business development, and nearly a decade in marketing-communications work. One starting point for his career in the financial industry was as a staff writer for an investor relations firm representing small-cap publicly traded companies. From there, he has worked with numerous financial firms in a marketing advisory capacity.
For consumer and business marketing insights, Ian draws upon a wide-varying background. This includes marketing strategy for small-to-medium enterprises; operations & consulting for political campaigns at all levels of government; and sales & marketing roles with startup to established companies. He looks forward to helping you achieve your business and branding goals.
BRENT MEYER — Chief Marketing Officer
Brent is the CMO and Owner of Safe Money Broadcasting. He oversees operations and charts new paths of innovation forward for today’s financial professional. He has been in the financial services industry for almost 20 years. Throughout his career, Brent has been an outspoken advocate for consumers and for independent advisors alike.
His background includes being a marketing director for a business unit of a well-capitalized global insurance carrier, a senior executive of an insurance marketing company, and a publisher on safe financial strategies. Brent’s current involvement in the industry includes being a wealth brokerage owner and the owner of SafeMoney.com, a national financial education website. His passion includes helping people understand their retirement money and see the roles of lifetime income, protection, and safe growth strategies in achieving their goals.
